Pubwatch
The Office is an avid member of the pubwatch community and supports the banned from one banned from all premise.

 

ID
On Saturdays The Office is an over 21’s club on Saturday's and over 18's on Friday nights. However we always run a scheme called challenge 25. In order for us to be extra careful we follow this government advised scheme in which the security staff will ID anyone who they feel looks under the age of 25. If it is an over 18 night you will still be admitted if you are over 18, we just feel this gives us a buffer for individuals that look older than they are.

 

Under the Influence
As a business our primary concern is the safety of you as a customer. This is why we run an ‘Under the Influence’ policy. This states that anyone who seems to be overly under the influence of alcohol will not be able to be served. We are keen promoters of safe and responsible drinking and like to portray that through our staff.

 

Glassware
As The Office uses glassware on its premises we have to be extra careful with regards to our customers and the public. This is why we run a glass policy that states no glass is to be taken off the premises at any time. We hope this doesn’t cause any inconvenience.

 

Drugs
At The Office we have a very hard approach to illegal substances. Anyone caught with illegal substances on their persons, using illegal substances or in possession of paraphernalia linked to illegal substances will be immediately ejected from the premises and issued a lifetime ban. In cases where it is merited the necessary authorities will be contacted.

 

Search Policy
At The Office our SIA registered security staff are instructed to carry out random searches throughout the night. This is a business policy and not a decision made by the security staff. If you are asked to be searched and do not wish to co-operate then admittance to the premises will not be allowed. Sorry for any inconvenience.

 

CCTV
The Office nightclub has CCTV cameras that cover as much of the premises as logistically possible. These cameras are situated on all levels and bars inside the premises and the surrounding area outside the premises. Please take into consideration that you are being filmed as soon as you step on the premises.
